My name is Maria Locker, and I am the Founder of The Ontario Mompreneurs Group, and Co-Ordinator of The Milton Mompreneurs Group and The Milton Mompreneur Showcase. I started out as a Kindergarten teacher, and through my time staying at home with both of my kids, I enjoyed working with different media and advertising outlets in order to help bring in some extra income.In early February 2010, after spending an afternoon at a cooking show with my friends and with the support of my incredible husband, I decided to try my hand at being a Pampered Chef Consultant, and absolutely fell in love! My passion for my own business created a monster you could say... I began chatting with fellow Milton Moms who were in the same position as me, working hard to maintain their families and bringing in extra income on their own terms! When I realized there was a lack of an outlet for all of us to showcase our talents, I decided to organize a trade show... what was the worst that could happen?
The Milton Mompreneurs are now a growing community of creative and talented women, and The Milton Mompreneur Showcase that was held in October of 2010 was a great success. With the support of my husband, family, and friends, we were able to raise over $400 for Halton Women's Place, as well as 5 huge boxes of food for the shelter. The Ontario Mompreneurs Group now has 4 Registered Chapters with more Mompreneur Showcases to come, including locations in Burlington, Oakville and Vaughan! I feel so fortunate to live in such a generous and giving community, and to have found so many like minded individuals who share my passion in supporting local Mompreneurs!

About EFA
Evolution F.A. is centered on the individual player. This premier futbol academy is offered to players seeking supplemental training to their recreational or club team practices. Players will learn age appropriate development activities, which will include progression based techniques. Techniques will include dribbling, controlling the ball, receiving, shooting, passing, and juggling. The player skill set will also incorporate speed, strength, fitness and tactical development.
Evolution F.A. will be providing year round training. We will offer supplemental training in the fall, winter (indoor), in the spring and summer. During the winter months we will locate our premier training indoors. For the indoor session we will train and play 3v3 and 4 v 4 Futsal. Futsal is played in a gymnasium which greatly enhances the player’s abilities and speed of play under pressure. We will also offer the Evolution F.A. Summer camp. This will be a weeklong camp from 9-330, Mon-Fri.
Our youth training program is open to all local players seeking professional training to prepare themselves for their future in soccer. The youth training program will consist of intimate training groups. This enables the trainer to concentrate on properly instructing and correcting a players’ technique which can get lost in large group/team training. The program is designed to correct technical weaknesses and improve each player's skills. Players will learn and develop their skills, balance and movements through repetition.
